I loathe these shoes with the fire of a thousand suns. I ordered them on the Kickstarter - I knew and liked Hue hosiery, so why not? Backers then spent YEARS getting the runaround on why the shoes were late (I repeat, YEARS LATE). Hue stopped responding to questions and instead sent us these absolutely out of touch updates - for example, why they used kraft paper in the packaging (NOBODY CARES). When they finally sent an update, the shoes showed a tacky pink tab that was universally reviled (and, which I now know, rubs your heel when you walk). Hundreds of responses begged for it to be removed, but of course it's still there. When the shoes finally arrived, they had the WORST insole I had ever encountered in a shoe. It's covered with these little rubber dots - apparently to keep you from sliding, but with the added bonus of making your feet stick to your shoes and sweat. Awesome! It rained the first time I wore these and I was tempted to just take them off and send them with the gushing rain down a storm drain. Every time I look at these shoes I get annoyed at what the Kickstarter backers went through. I do feel close to my fellow backers, though - we have walked through hell and back (not wearing these shoes, because they suck). I'm just waiting for the right wind to set them on fire in my yard. DO NOT BUY.
